eIDRent keeps track of who has what and until when. Identification through the Belgian identity card, returns with a single scan, and the personal data disappears the moment the item comes back.

Pick the item and the period: half an hour, an hour, a day, a week or an end time of your own. Whatever is out disappears from the list — you cannot lend the same go-kart twice.
Place the identity card on the Bluetooth reader. Name, date of birth, address and portrait appear straight away, read from the chip itself. Optional: renting out without a card works just as well.
Scan the barcode on the item or the QR code on the rental ticket. The rental closes, and everything pointing to the person is erased.
Every new rental prints a ticket straight away: your logo, your company details, the item, the start and end time and the duration.
At the bottom sits a QR code that points to that one rental. Scan it on return and the right rental closes — even when three identical items are out.
The card reader
The identity card is read by a separate Bluetooth reader. We work with the Sipiro M BT 4.0, also sold as the FEITIAN bR301BLE. That is the model eIDRent was tested and tuned with.
Without a reader the app works fine: you simply skip reading the card and rent out by name or anonymously.
The app itself is free to install. The first ten rentals are free, so you can try it out in your own business first. The price alongside is the price of the card reader — a device you buy from a web shop, not the price of eIDRent.
Price and delivery time checked on 21 August 2026 at eidshop.be. We do not sell these readers ourselves and earn nothing from this reference.
The Belgian national register number is never stored. The renter's data is erased automatically as soon as the item is back. What remains is the rental itself: which item, from when until when.
One purchase, all your devices.
Synced through your own iCloud: the data is on every device signed in with the same Apple Account. There is no server of ours.
Dutch, French and English, switched inside the app — independent of your device language.
Overdue in red, ending soon in yellow. You see at once where to look.
A photo, a description and a barcode per item.
No monthly cost, no account, no advertising.
